In detail

The Everyday Pan is an 11 in frying pan for an ordinary evening: two eggs, a salmon fillet, a pan of mushrooms, yesterday's rice warmed through with an egg on top.

Inside, a fine honeycomb texture runs across the whole cooking surface and fades into a spiral at the center. Each small facet catches the light at its own angle, and a spoonful of oil spreads out along the fine lines between them. The outside is polished smooth.

The walls slope gently, so a spatula gets under an egg in one move. One long handle, and the Glass Lid made for it (11 in), sold separately.

Looking after it

Care

  • Let it cool down before washing; never put a hot pan in cold water.
  • Wash by hand with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. For stuck-on food, soak it in warm water, then use a Coil Scrubber on the inside only.
  • Dry it right away with a soft towel to keep water marks off the polished outside.

Step by step

How to use it

  1. Before the first use, wash it in warm soapy water and dry it.

  2. Warm the empty pan over medium heat for a minute or two.

  3. Add a spoonful of oil and let it shimmer, then add the food.

  4. Let it sear until it lifts away before you turn it.

  5. Keep the heat at medium or lower for eggs and fish, and hold the handle with a towel or an oven mitt once the pan is hot.

Questions

Before you order

Something else? Write to us from our contact page. We reply within 2 business days.

How do I cook eggs on it?

Warm the empty pan over medium heat, add a little butter or oil, then the eggs. Keep the heat at medium or a little lower and wait until the white has set and the edge lifts before you slide the spatula under. If anything stays behind, soak the pan, then use a Coil Scrubber on the inside.

What is it made of?

Titanium, as described by the maker. The full material and chemical declaration for this pan will be published on this page and on our Materials & Chemicals page before the shop takes orders.

Which lid fits it?

The Glass Lid in the size "11 in · Everyday Pan and Pan Trio". It is sold separately, at the same price as every other size.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

Wash it by hand with warm soapy water and dry it right away. The maker has not confirmed dishwasher use in writing, so we do not suggest it.

Which cooktops does it work on?

We list a cooktop only once the maker confirms it in writing. The confirmed list will appear in the specs on this page before the shop takes orders.

How do shipping and returns work?

Shipping is included in the price; there is no separate delivery charge. Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days, then take 7 to 12 business days in transit, so allow about 8 to 15 business days from order confirmation. We deliver to the 50 US states and Washington, D.C. Import duties and customs fees are paid by us. If a carrier ever asks you for any, contact us and we will cover it in full. Unused items in their original condition and packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Because they touch food, pans, pots, lids, boards, bowls and utensils that have been used for cooking or food, and opened Coil Scrubbers, cannot be returned for a change of mind. A product that arrives defective, damaged or wrong, or shows a defect within those 30 days, is replaced or refunded, even if it has been used. A broken glass lid must not be mailed back: send us photos and we replace or refund it without a return. Return shipping for a change of mind is paid by the customer; we send the return address by e-mail, and it may be outside the United States. For a defective, damaged or wrong item, we pay it. You can cancel at no charge until your order ships.
